The appeal court satisfied the client’s claim for a 3-k apartment near The Rresident's office in Kiyv.

The 3-K apartment near the Franko Theatre was judged to the client as an inheritance after the death of her civil husband and was claimed in her favor from the raider. The appeal judgement overturned the negative decision of the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv for the client and adopted a new one on full satisfaction of her claim.

The trial consisted of two cases - on proving the fact of the client living in one family with her husband without registering the marriage for more than 5 years (because this gives the right to inherit the husband's property).

The second - on claiming half of the apartment from the raider's possession, registered in 2022 under a forged contract, under which the raider allegedly bought it from the husband in 2010. And on recognising the right of ownership to the other half of the apartment by inheritance.

There were two opponents in the lawsuit - the illegal current owner of 1/2 of the apartment and the Kyiv City Council as a potential acquirer of the other half in case the claim was rejected.

The complex legal process lasted 3 years and 3 months.
